88, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, passed away on April 14, 2016. She was a custodian for the Bayonne Board of Education for 15 years prior to her retirement. Lorraine was predeceased by her husband, Albert Carne, Sr.; parents Frank and Katherine “Kitty” (nee: Hayden) Schaefer; son Albert Carne; siblings Eleanore Brady, Dorothy Kackos, Robert, Terrance, and Gregory Schaefer. Lorraine is survived by her sons, Daniel Carne and his wife Kathleen and John Carne; siblings Richard and John Schaefer; sister-in-laws Clare and Mona Schaelfer; and a grandson Michael Carne.
