was born in Bayonne from the union of Thomas Isiah Russell and Grace Parham; one of six children. Harriet graduated from Bayonne High School and married James L. Bryant Sr. They had three children, James L. Bryant Jr., Dr. Patricia C. Bryant and Karin M. Bryant and the family resided in Jersey City. Harriet started her career at Bell Atlantic and worked her way up to several management positions. Harriet is preceded in death by her son James Jr.; and granddaughter Shayla McClain. Surviving to cherish Harriet’s memory are daughters Dr. Patricia C. Bryant, and Karin M. Bryant; sisters Gloria Nelson, Marion Russell, and Frances Wilson and a host of family and friends.
