SULLIVAN, VERONICA (nee: Merkovsky)

92, a lifelong resident of Bayonne, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Long Beach, Mississippi with her family by her side. Veronica was employed by the Western Electric Company of Kearny, NJ as a wire assembler, a position she held for many years prior to her retirement. Veronica was a longtime faithful parishioner of St. Joseph’s R.C. Church where she was a member of the Ladies Sodality of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Veronica was predeceased by her husband Ralph A. Sullivan in 2009, her parents, Joseph and Mary (nee: Beseny), Merkovsky; 4 siblings, Mary Bodayla, Andrew, Joseph, and Michael Merkovsky, and her son-in-law, Kenneth Wojcicki. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Maryann Wojcicki, Veronica Vetter and her husband Robert, Laurie Kisslinger and her husband Mark and Ralph Sullivan, and her 5 grandchildren, Amy Lynn Ostroski and her husband Michael, Robert Vetter and his wife Marta, Stephanie, Victoria and Amanda Sullivan, and 7 great-grandchildren.
