JERSEY CITY — Two people were found dead on Tuesday morning, June 14, in a home in Jersey City in what officials said was a murder/suicide.
A husband and wife, Raymond, 54, and Monica Haddad, 44, were found dead in a two-family home at 908 Summit Ave. just before 7 a.m.
A Jersey City Police officer said a weapon was found at the site.
The Hudson County Prosecutor’s Office in investigating the matter.
A post on the McGinley Square Facebook page said Monica had worked at the thrift shop on Bergen Avenue next to Dunkin’ Donuts.
