Save park. Other options available for high school

Dear Editor: This letter is for the County Executive Robert Janiszewski and Superintent of Schools Peter Fischbach. The North Hudson Braddock Park belongs to the people of Hudson County, each and every inch. The park is an open area for the residents of Hudson County to enjoy. I do believe Hudson County is the most densely populated county in America. What we need is more open spaces and not sell what we have. Through the news media, I know that the federal government, New York State and other governments have bought land for the people to enjoy. This certainly doesn’t mean to give Braddock Park land for North Bergen High School. One option to help the North Bergen problem is to check out along Tonnelle Avenue where there are many vacant buildings and land, or the land used for parking at the back of the North Bergen High School on 76th Street. Save the park. No public building in the park. Period. Nelson Fernandez
