Ah, the agony of defeat!

Dear Editor: This is a letter in response to the one written by Pasquale DeStefano in your April 30 issue. What a nasty, vindictive and insulting letter. I am a citizen of Hoboken with no desire to get deeply involved in the political bashing that goes on in this town. However, how can someone assume that a political candidate won an election because of the positioning of his name on a ballot sheet — what an immature, sore loser you are! Don’t insult the people of Hoboken by insinuating that we don’t know how to read a ballot form and then don=t try to cover it up by trying to be so “sweet” and concerned by wishing us a Happy Easter. Grow up and accept your defeat for what it was — fair and square! S. Naylor
