Dear Editor: Last week Elsa Gonzalez claimed that Councilman Soares is “anti-Hispanic” just because he noted that City Hall employees Robert Crespo and George Ortiz (who happens to be Hispanic) are getting raises to their already inflated City Hall salaries. If that’s true, should I, (who happen to be African-American and a Christian Minister) assume that their boss Anthony Russo is anti-Black and anti-Christian because he verbally assaults me in public and at city council meetings? If Robert and George care so much about minorities why don’t they take some of their new found money and pass out lottery tickets in the Fourth Ward? We certainly could use a dollar and a dream!
