Hoping to even their record at (3-3), the currently (2-3) Bengals set their sights on downing the (0-5) Eagles as both squads met in a JCC of Bayonne Sr. Division Indoor Flag Football week 7 bout. Starting off with a bang, the Bengals’ Drew Radil picked off the Eagles’ second pass attempt to set up a full court TD sprint by Aaliyana Cifuentes. Up 6-0, the Bengals poured it on to build a 58-0 advantage with Aaliyana Cifuentes (4 TDs), Alejandro Cifuentes (4 expts), Drew Radil (3 TDs, 4 expts), Chris Ballance (1 TD) and the Bengals’ defense (1 safety) fueling the romp. While not jumping on the scoring bandwagon, the Bengals’ Anthony Baez chipped in with 50 yards on 5 carriers to setup 3 trips to paydirt. Reeling from one miscue after another, the Eagles never lost sight of their goal to improve each week and an impressive drive featuring receptions by Ezekiel Lupianez, Chris Caballero, Jack Kruchkowski, and Mariam Rasslan finally paid off as David Matos hauled in his team leading fifth TD of the season. When the dust settled, the Bengals moved to (3-3) with a dominating 58-6 win.
