Funeral services have been held for Henry R. “Hank” Koop, 92. He passed away peacefully at his home in Mount Arlington, on Nov. 11. Hank was born in Secaucus to the late Herman and Eliza (Hausmann) Koop. A proud veteran, he served in the US Navy during World War II and the Korean War. Hank was active in his community, having been a former captain for Secaucus Fire Dept. Hose Company 3. Predeceased by his wife, Katherine and son Hank Jr., Hank is survived by his sons Carl and wife Eileen, Alan and wife Luisa as well as two grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Koop.
