A resident of Point Pleasant Beach, NJ, passed away on June 20, 2016. Born in Bayonne to Stella and Konrad Targonski, Helene spent her childhood and most of her life residing in Bayonne before moving to Point Pleasant Beach. She graduated from Our Lady of Mount Carmel Grammar School and Bayonne High School. She attended Rutger’s University before she married Joseph V. Duda, who she spent 47 happy years with, until his death in 1995. Helene was also predeceased by her parents, Stella and Konrad Targonski, her sister, Felicia Wisolmerski, her brothers-in-law; Henry Wisolmerski, Walter Zientek and Carl Duda. Helene is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Rapcienski, Elizabeth McCarthy, and Janey Pestkowski and her husband, David Pestkowski, as well as the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Pamela Rapcienski, Meredith McCarthy and Joseph Pestkowski.
