Dear Editor: As a resident of Hoboken, I have watched as Ron Hine and his cronies have vehemently objected to every project proposed by Joe Barry over the past decade. Mr. Barry has shown an unwavering commitment to responsible development in Hoboken for 30 years. Yet Ron Hine objects to everything. No one can dispute that the Shipyard project is a well-conceived, well-executed development which has benefitted the residents of this town. Yet Hine litigated for years to block this project. Obviously, Hine has a personal ax to grind, and he doesn’t care one bit whether or not his actions benefit or harm the residents of this town. So why should we trust anything that Ron Hine says. He has never done anything good for Hoboken or its residents. Lucille A. Haack
