Dear Editor:
I would like to thank the voters of Bergen and Hudson Counties for your overwhelming support. I was honored to receive over 60 percent of the votes cast to return me to the U.S. House of Representatives for a third term.
As you know, I return to a divided Washington. But I will continue to work across party lines to secure a voluntary prescription drug benefit for all seniors under Medicare, pass a Patient’s Bill of Rights, ensure a quality education for all our children and fight for New Jersey’s local interests to reduce aircraft noise, give local communities a voice to control train noise, improve our transportation system and to continue to clean up and preserve our environment.
