Help and attention needed, not censure

Dear Editor:

I am a senior citizen living near the North Bergen/Fairview border and I visit the Senior Nutrition Center.

Recently, I was told that a homeless woman who talks to herself was not allowed back into the center. However, I’ve never seen her bothering anybody. I’ve seen people ask her questions, but I’ve never seen her go out of her way to talk to anybody. So as far as I’m concerned, she is minding her own business.

I don’t know who made the complaint, but I think whoever it was, was very small, to say the least. Since when do you beat on a person who can’t help themselves? This woman needs help and attention.

Meanwhile, there’s a woman there who goes around annoying and harassing people. She not only is dirty and very unkempt, but she is allowed to stay. And she’s being welcomed. Which politician is she related to that she can physically harass people and annoy other people and do as she pleases?

I would like to know what is behind this situation.
