Dear Editor:
There are many flags hanging on the Veterans Housing, built after World War II for returning veterans and their families from Cantiello Street to Peter Street, from Hudson Avenue to Park Avenue in Union City.
While there are not many veterans of World War II still alive and living there, the spirit of those men and women is.
There are many ethnic groups from many other countries living there, they speak many different languages, but they are all under one flag as pictures show.
Our flag waves, our gardens flourish and grow as our "Spirit Grows."
These evil doers cannot win over Democracy and free people all over this world. They will vanish from the face of the earth into the sands of time and the flags of all free nations of the world will continue to wave, and the flowers will continue to grow.
