Dear Residents:
Our country suffered a terrible loss at the hands of terrorists and we will never be the same again.
Although this is a very said and disturbing time for Americans, it is also a time to stand up for what we believe in and to show everyone in the world that Americans are strong and proud.
We are united in our pride and to show that unity, I encourage all Union City residents to display the American flag.
Together we will get through this tragedy, together we will stand behind our President and the United States Constitution, and together we will show the world that America cannot be brought to her knees.
I want to remind you that the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and the United Way are accepting donations to help the ones directly affected by this tragedy in the days and weeks to come. If you can, please make a donation and feel free to drop your donation off at my office. I will see to it that all donations are directed to the charities. Please make your check or money order payable to your preferred charity organization.
Also, if your family or a family you know is concerned about a loved one who still may be missing as a result of this tragedy, please contact me and I will do all I can to assist you in any way possible.
God Bless America
Brian P. Stack
