You’re never too old for public office

Dear Editor:

As a senior citizen I would like to see one politician step up to home plate with an agenda and find part-time jobs for the senior citizens who are looking for work because the game is you must show your loyalty to seniors who show how loyal and faithful they are at election time. I know we seniors need the home field advantage for our problem with consideration and solution with values that satisfy an equation. That way we should never ever give in, we must fight for our rights, and believe me, my fellow senior citizens, we have good knowledge mind with the truth in our heart! But I will say this, if I were younger I may have tried for public office. I was a former chairman on the Mayor’s Senior Affairs, I had open heart surgery back on February 12, 1998. Right now I am a member of the Mayor’s Commission on Senior Affairs. My feeling are showing pride to serve my mayor and Jersey City with the love of God. And believe me we all have a legacy of leadership with a vision. I like to say this about the population of senior citizens, your love is a treasure.

Thank you and God Bless America!
