Dear Editor:
Recently I fell and broke my arm in four places. I was taken to Palisades General Hospital; I was in shock and in a lot of pain. From the moment I arrived at the emergency room to the moment I was discharged, I received excellent care.
Many thanks to Carol and the Emergency Room staff for their compassion and kindness. To Rita and the operating room staff who took care of me during my four-hour operation, and to the nurses and staff of the 4th floor who were so kind during my three-day recovery. And last, but certainly not least, a special thanks to my orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Christopher Ahmad, who put my arm back together with skill and compassion.
The leadership of Palisades General Hospital should be proud of what they accomplished in bringing a world class medical facility to Hudson County.
