Dear Editor:
The Board of Trustees of the Hoboken Public Library would like to extend our sincere appreciation to the entire membership of “The Friends of the Library.”
The “Friends” continue to be an added support system to the Public Library I much needed volunteer hours and in fundraising efforts. Through the years, your donations have supplied the Library with numerous books, some new computer equipment and other items that are sometimes beyond the reach of the Library’s municipal budget. Most recently the “Friends” have contributed $3,000 towards computer equipment and $2,000 towards the newly established DVD collection that is very popular and heavily utilized.
The Library has benefitted from the dedication of this volunteer group, and the Board of Trustees appreciates and applauds the efforts.
