We need more say in what the White House does

Dear Editor:

I am writing to your paper to express my opinion on two things. First before President Bush starts any war with any country, I believe that the people of this country should vote on going to war and sending more veterans to be killed or disabled. And I also think that people should vote on raises to the Congressmen, yes or no. When I read in other papers how some people in Washington are so devious it makes me feel that we people have no say in anything the White House wants to do.

So let’s demand that we the people vote on everything the President and Congress wants.
