Dear Editor:
I am writing to express my support for Senator Torricelli, his accomplishments and his mistakes. I support him as a person, strong legislator and dedicated fighter for New Jersey.
Al l these bad stories flying around are just a whole lot of whoopla about some technicalities — paying wholesale instead of retail and displaying a statue in his office done by an artist that wasn’t a New Jersey’s behalf. The scales are clearly the whoopla against all the fights he’s won on New Jersey’s behalf. The scales are clearly tipped in his favor.
I’ll take an accomplished legislator with a couple of technical mistakes over that sneaky Nixon-look-alike, Doug Forringer any day.
