Dear Editor:
Perhaps the best answer to the question put forth on August 4th “Why did we elect Mr. Roberts Mayor of our City?” is that the majority of the people in our City feel that he is the most capable and qualified to guide us through the changes of the future.
I am a life-long resident in this town who begs to differ with Mr. Gordon in his criticism of the Mayor and his present administration. Could it be that the basis for this malcontent has some personal undertones?
There is something to be said for the old adage, “If it ain’t broke don’t fix it!”, and if there is something to be fixed, Mayor Roberts will rise to the occasion.
