Dear Editor:
I remember Weehawken before it became a parking lot. It was nice then, with green lawns shrubs and flowers.
I think there are too many cars. This calls for desperate measures, like parking on the sidewalk. And the choreography, when one house has too many cars! Never one leaves a spot but another slips right in, thus preserving the spot in perpetuity. It’s sort of fun to watch, but I’d really like to be able to take a walk without having to go into the street to avoid a parked car, or step into a drain when a car is parked illegally too close to the corner.
It’s not a pedestrian’s world anymore!
