Dear Editor:
Carolyn and Jack would like to take this time to express our gratitude for all of your help. This had to be our third annual Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner; it was a great turnout and a blessing to serve others. We were able to feed so many homeless people at Journal Square on Nov. 16, 2002.
At the same time we had received over 50 turkeys that were contributed to families and churches for people in need. Thank you again. We could not have done this without your help and prayers.
Thank you to: Shiley; Al, Railroad Bar; Summit Food & Fried Chicken; Mr. and Mrs. Murphy; David Morales; Hurst & Copin; Eden Basket and many others who also helped.
Thank you especially to the cook Evan G. Howell, Sis English, Sis Juana, Sis Thorpe, Sis J. Broughto and Sis Jerrell. I hope this was an experience for you.
