Thank you all who volunteered your help

Dear Editor:

We would like to thank everyone who worked so hard to relocate 52,000 books from the old building to the new Secaucus Public Library and Business Resource Center. It is amazing that with your help and the tireless assistance of library staff, the Departments of Public Works and Buildings and Grounds, the library was closed for only three days. That is almost unheard of in the library world. On behalf of the Library Board of Trustees and all of us at the library, thank you.

The Friends of the Library have decided to extend their appreciation by distributing a free t-shirt to every volunteer. If you adopted a shelf, helped box or stack books, or worked in any way to get the new building operational, please stop by the library to receive your complimentary shirt. This outstanding community effort, performed with dedication and friendship, will never be forgotten.
