An open letter to John Corea:
I am writing this letter of endorsement of your candidacy for Hoboken City Councilman in the 2nd Ward for public consumption based upon my many years of friendship with you and my administration for your accomplishments and abilities.
I know you to be an honest, sincere, hardworking person who once you make a commitment you will never stop until you accomplish your goal. You and your family have been in the forefront of all that is good about Hoboken. You have been a dedicated community leader who has been instrumental in helping me serve the residents of Hoboken in my capacity as a Councilman, Freeholder and Mayor. For many years, you have worked behind the scenes to improve the quality of life for our community. Your efforts to help the children of Hoboken through your support and participation in our youth recreational programs has earned you the respect of thousands of children and their parents.
I grew up with your parents, Anthony Charles and Camille. We shared many happy moments together. I am very proud of your parents and family for the legacy you have left to Hoboken through your founding and continued support of the Anthony C. Corea Cardiac Rehab Center at St. Mary Hospital. It is through the hard work of your parents and the continual support from you and your family that thousands of Hobokenites, including myself, have been able to rehabilitate from a cardiac condition in a world-class facility.
I wish you all the success possible, and I am committed to working to help make you the City Councilman representing the 2nd Ward of Hoboken.
