Hall wins
The column by Mr. Chris Halleron last week (Hal wastes his wages/March 6) was terrific. It made me feel good that a journalist would honor our culture and heritage so well. Many times I encounter people who lack the knowledge of Irish culture but celebrate our holidays. – Will Krouslis
Hoboken’s St. Patrick’s parade was a success! Chris Halleron’s story was great. – Lisa R.

The Railroad
Todd Sheaffer and Railroad Earth played a long set at the Whiskey Bar last Saturday (The Sound of Jamming/March 6). They are a band to look out for. I believe The Current should have done a bigger story on them because they deserve the exposure. Railroad Earth is one of the few bands out there jamming and improvising rock and roll. They stay away from pop and bubble gum melodies. I just think they should’ve gotten more coverage. Thank you. – Jessica Roberts
We did a story on them, but we’ll make a note of your suggestion.
