Dear Editor:
Thank you Mayor Roberts and Christopher Campos. A short letter to thank you both for helping the residents of 132 Monroe Street with our recent problem.
Two large industrial floodlights were recently installed on Second Street between Monroe and Jackson, flooding every apartment window with very bright blinding light. This was not just a nuisance, residents were complaining of being temporarily blinded and having migraine headaches. These lights were brighter than the Griswold house at Christmas.
After calling both Mayor Roberts and Councilman Campos, the lights were turned off within a few days. I may not agree with their politics, but their quick response to this issue was truly appreciated by me and every resident in our building.
Thank you both.
Timothy Neville and the residents of 132 Monroe St.
