Very disappointed in Assemblyman Fraguela; he should be removed from the NJ State Assembly

Dear Editor:

I am very disappointed with the comments of Assemblyman Ralph Fraguela that are critical against Mayor Brian Stack.

More than most people in Union City, Ralph Fraguela should remember the evil-minded degeneracy to which the office of the Mayor had sunk under the previous administration. Up until these most recent comments, I believed that Ralph Fraguela shared my pride in Mayor Brian Stack. I believed that Ralph Fraguela shared our vision for Union City.

I do not know many Mayors who treat their friends, foes and residents with the compassion and courtesy of Brian Stack. Nor do I know many other Mayors who work as long and as hard to affect the daily lives of their constituents.

As an Assemblyman, Ralph Fraguela has not even come close to sharing the high standard of excellence that Mayor Brian Stack has set for those of us who have chosen to be a part of his Union City team. The political leadership of our county made the correct decision to recommend to the people that Ralph Fraguela be removed from the New Jersey State Assembly. Ralph Fraguela should respect their wishes and step aside with dignity.
