My vision

Dear Editor:

Now that we are entering the last weekend of this very spirited campaign, I

would like to write about my vision. My opponents in this election see a

Fourth Ward glass of water as half empty, whereas I see it as half full. I

choose to focus on building consensus as a roadway to solving our problems

and enriching our quality of life.

I grew up in our public housing authority, went to our public schools,

graduated and became a lawyer. Therefore, I know we can make our community

work for all of our residents. My goal is to ensure that every child on

Harrison Street has the same opportunity to realize and fulfill his/her

limitless potential as every child on Hudson Street now enjoys. Along with

Council President Ruben Ramos, Jr. and the entire City Council we have and

will continue to build opportunities for our children, to nurture respect

and dignity for our seniors who helped build the greatest country in the

world, and extend our hearts and our hands to the underserved members of our

community.

Families, Education, Seniors, Recreation, Building Consensus, Solving

Problems and Improving our quality of life. Those, and not politics or

headline grabbing, will be the focus and priorities of my next term in

office. You have my pledge, and I respectfully ask for your support on

Tuesday.

Very truly yours,

Christopher Campos
