Vote for Lucille Haack; she has the same interests as we do!

Dear Editor:

I am writing this letter in support of my sister, Lucille Haack, a candidate for the Hoboken City Council on May 13. Lucille and I grew up in Hoboken and attended the public schools. Lucille married a Hoboken boy, Roy Haack, and continued to live here and raise her family.

Lucille is the ideal candidate because she is a true Hobokenite. She knows Hoboken intimately and cares about the direction in which it is moving. Her interests are the same as yours. She wants a safe environment, lower taxes, a better parking situation and attractive open spaces for our children to play and our adults to appreciate.

I have been the principal of Weehawken High School since 1976. During those years, Lucille and I have spent countless hours discussing the importance of education and the ways in which the schools of Hoboken can be improved.

Lucille, like me, is concerned about the education of our youth. She would support programs which offered a variety of academic, athletic and cultural opportunities to the youth of Hoboken. Please come out and offer your support to Lucille Haack on May 13.

Sincerely,

Dr. Peter J. Olivieri
