Dear Editor:
Our family would like to publicly thank the Hoboken Police Department for their presence and professionalism as they escorted our mother Maria (Millie) DeGenova’s funeral procession.
Being the grandmother of a Hoboken Police Officer made our Mom very proud. She never missed a parade but sometimes left after the Police Department marched by.
We are sure that our Mom truly appreciated the last salute to her and her love for Hoboken. Specifically we wish to thank George Piscopo, Charlie Campbell, Michael Costello, Jr., Robert Truppner, Bernie Della Fave and John Alvarez.
