World, your beauty comes through today,
in being what you were meant to be;
One big family, sharing and caring;
The family called Humanity.
For many souls, “their time” came early,
but were drawn from the waves and the sand,
into the palm of God’s hand; meeting their destiny.
If we put our faith and life in His hand,
through the One who died to give us new Life,
asking Him to put away sin, and to pour His love
and life within, we’ll have a wonderful destiny,
– now and eternally.
But millions were left in their misery;
their world swept away by a raging sea.
I said to myself, “What can I do?”
“I can’t save “the world” with a morsel or two!”
But, each life is precious; we know it is true.
What if that life was me, or was you?
We’d reach for a morsel, just to survive.
We’d give our right arm just to stay alive!
If giving just a morsel, or maybe a few,
was all someone could do, it would
mean “the world to me, or mean “the world” to you!
Some can give little; some can give more.
If I had some more, I’d give some more,
until I just couldn’t give any more,
because there’s always just one more, that
could have been you or me, an innocent
child of tragedy; hungry, lost and dying,
looking for our Mother; Father; Sister, Brother,
Or maybe just one caring member, of our family;
