Dear Editor:
I am writing in regard to the recent changes I have seen within the Town of West New York.
I have lived in West New York for over 30 years but I have not been more proud to call West New York my home now more than ever before. I would like to personally thank Mayor Silverio A. Vega and the Board of Commissioners for their outstanding leadership during the last two years they have been in office.
More recently I have been very impressed with the newly initiated “Movies Under the Stars” and “Summer Concert Series” that have taken place in the beautifully renovated McEldowney Field over the last two months. These events have been a great success and offer an outstanding evening full of free entertainment and fun for all the residents of West New York.
I truly believe West New York is moving in the right direction and would like to once again thank Mayor Vega for his commitment to the residents of West New York by making the town I call home a better place.
