ULLMAN, FLORENCE. Services for Florence Ullman, 96, of Jersey City, were Oct. 5 at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery in Queens. She died Oct. 3 at Harbor View Health Care, Jersey City. Born in Weehawken, she lived in Jersey City since 1937. She attended Weehawken schools and in 1929 was among the first graduates of the new Weehawken High School, formerly Woodrow Wilson High School. She worked in the Union City branch office of Prudential Insurance Company for 14 years before beginning work as a secretary in the New York City schools in 1946. She retired in 1977 after 30 years of service. During World War II, she was a volunteer Red Cross nurse’s aide in the four hospitals in Jersey City. She was a member of Temple Beth El, Jersey City. Survivors include a nephew, Alan Dresner, and a niece, Jane Nadler
