SOMMA, LOUIS R. Mass for Louis R. Somma, 85, of Union City, was held Sept. 24at Holy Family Church, Union City. She died Sept. 20 at Compassionate Care Hospice at the Atrium, Jersey City. He was born in Hoboken. Somma was a stationary engineer at Linden Packing, Newark, for 30 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Holy Family Lyceum and the World War II Submarine Veterans Association. Survivors include his wife, Doris C. (Viola); two sons, Russell and Michael; a daughter, Janet Segedin; and six grandchildren, Andrew, Julia, Stephanie, Mary Regina, William and Audrey.
