SKUPIEN, YVETTE V. Mass for Yvette V. Skupien, 50, of Jersey City, was held Sept. 12, at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Jersey City. She died Sept. 6, at Hackensack Medical Center. Born in New York, she had lived in Jersey City for many years. Skupien was a licensed realtor for Armagno Realty, Jersey City. She was an executive assistant to the CEO of Harris Direct and served as a congressional aide to Hawaii Sen. Daniel Kahikina Akaka and to Rep. Frank Guarini, of Jersey City. She was the first woman to serve on the Parish Council for Holy Rosary Church, Jersey City. Survivors include her husband, Stanley J.; two sons, Ceasar Amadore and Taylor; a daughter, Brittany; her parents, Gloria Lopez and Raul Vincente; a brother, Raul Vincente; two sisters, Brenda Davidoff and Sandra Brown; two grandchildren, Tatyana Amadore and Aiden Skupien Melendez; and many nieces and nephews.
