BENITEZ, JUAN ORTIZ. Services for Juan Ortiz Benitez, 77, of Union City, were held Nov. 4 at Leber Funeral Home, Union City. He died at home Nov. 2. He was born in Bayaguana, Dominican Republic. Benitez was a factory worker at Consolidated Laundry, Union City, for many years before retiring. Survivors include his wife, Francia A. (Ortiz) Benitez; five sons, Pablo, Ramon, Frank, Miguel and Juan Carlos; six daughters, Fela, Teresa, Christina, Francisca, Haidita and Wanda; 33 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and many great-great-grandchildren.
