BROCHU, KATHERINE J. A blessing for Katherine J. Brochu, 71, of Union City, was held Oct. 15 at Leber Funeral Home, Union City. She died Oct. 11 at Compassionate Care Hospice at The Atrium, Jersey City. Born in St. Louis, Mo., Brochu lived in Union City for many years. She worked for 36 years as a home aide. Survivors include two sons, Steven Debrecki and John Graham; two sisters, Dolores Pierson and Matilda Badgley; four grandchildren, Mark, Boby, Talyn and Ryan; and nine great-grandchildren.
