ALMODOVAR, MILAGROS. A funeral mass for Milagros Almodovar, 84, of Jersey City, was held Friday at St. Peter’s Church, Jersey City. She died Dec. 13 at the Compassionate Care Hospice. Born in Puerto Rico, she lived in Jersey City for 60 years, and worked as a self-employed seamstress for many years. She was the widow of Jose Antonio Bahamundi, and the mother of Olga Szymoniak and the late Alma-Armita B. Catalini. She is survived by her grandchildren: Gina Marie, Bruno, and Frank Catalini, and Vincent, Denise, Lester and Yvonne Szymoniak, and Ray Orta, as well as 16 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
