KELLEY, CHARLES J. Visitation for Charles J. Kelley, 84, of Point Pleasant, was held Nov. 28 at The Pable-Evertz Funeral Home, Point Pleasant. He died Nov. 27. Born in Buffalo, N.Y., he lived in Jersey City, moving to Point Pleasant eight years ago. Kelley was an Army veteran of World War II who participated in the D-Day invasion, serving in the 82nd Airborne, 3rd and 4th infantry. He was awarded two Purple Hearts with cluster, the Silver Star, the European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign Medal, the Ruptured Duck Pin, and Combat Infantry Badge. Survivors include a son, Charles Kelley, and his wife Debra; two daughters, Elaine Ipsaro, and her husband Louis, and Colleen Taylor, and her husband Joseph; a brother and sister-in-law, James and Ethel Kelley; eight grandchildren, Sean, Brian, Timothy, Megan, Louis, Emma, Jason and Caralyn; and a great-grandson, Michael.
