VISITING ARTIST

Illustrator Peter Kuper, right, co-founder of World War 3 Illustrated, a political graphic magazine established in 1979 and for which he continues to serve on the editorial board, spoke at New Jersey City University as part of the year-long “Art and Politics Project.” Gathered with Mr. Kuper, who currently serves as an art director of INX, a political illustration group syndicated through the Web, and teaches at School of Visual Arts in New York, were, from the left, Tracy Goycocaga of Jersey City, an NJCU sophomore majoring in mathematics and education; Jenny Lu of Jersey City, an NJCU sophomore with an undecided major; Herb Rosenberg, chair of the NJCU Department of Art, sponsor of the program; Robert Astudillo of Jersey City, an NJCU junior majoring in the media rats and Dr. Dennis Raverty, an NJCU assistant professor of art.
