“Lonesome” is safe

To the Editor:
This letter is to let everyone know that our canine friend who lived down by Stop & Shop is alive and well. We realize that there were so many wonderful people who cared for him and were probably concerned that they haven’t seen him lately. You will all be happy to know that he has been neutered, tested, vaccinated, and micro-chipped.
Lonesome is currently living in a wonderful foster home, where he is being cared for by professional dog trainers. Once they feel he is ready, he will be up for adoption. Those of you that have met him know that he is truly an amazing dog filled with affection, and without an aggressive bone in his body. He is still a little timid and afraid, but that is nothing a little TLC can’t take care of.
A very special thank you to Muriel Elliot. Without her, we never would have been able to rescue Lonesome, aka Echo.
