A heartfelt thank you to all

Dear Editor:
My family and I would like to express our sincere appreciation to all who attended the memoriam for Renata Zurer Guzman. We took great comfort in your love and support.
We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to St. Mary Hospital/Hoboken University. A special thanks to Dr. Abbie Jacobs, Renata’s friend and primary care doctor with her legion of interns that Renata endearingly called “Abbie’s Army.”
Michele Russo for sharing with us the benefits of specialized brain surgery techniques that she and her family know all too well.
The Applied Companies and their staff for all they’ve done to make Renata’s environment comfortable through her physical struggles.
The City of Hoboken and Mayor Dave Roberts for enabling Renata swift access to handicapped parking as she faltered rapidly.
The Hoboken Police Department. Especially to Chief Carmen LaBruno for being instrumental in reuniting Renata and her biological mother after 50 years.
The Hoboken Fire Department for its professionalism and friendship to her and my family with timely emergency response during our crisis.
Special love and respect to dedicated expert individuals both young and mature at the Hoboken Ambulance Corp, led by Capt. Tommy Molta. Also the Hoboken High Ambulance Corp and the Jersey City Medical Center first responders.
Hoboken Family Planning for giving my wife the dignity to focus her fight against cancer with the NJCEED program (New Jersey Cancer Education & Early Detection) with treatment coverage to focus on her fight rather than on the destructive stress of medical costs.
Renata loved this town. She loved working here, living her and raising our son Noah here.
The value of this community to us as neighbor and citizens will always be a privilege and blessing. Thank you Hoboken for all your thoughts and prayers.
