A funeral mass was offered March 18 at Holy Trinity R.C. Church, Perth Amboy, for Anna Canavari, 97, of Nokomis, Fla. She died March 14 at home. Born in Hoboken, she lived in Hoboken before moving to Florida eight years ago. She was a Seamstress for 35 years and a member of the International Ladies Garment Worker’s Union. She was preceded in death by her husband, August Canavari, and her parents, Anthony and Josephine Grato. She is survived by her three daughters, Louise Johnson of Largo, Fla., Josephine Micale and her husband Louis of Hoboken, and Elaine Vozzella of Nokomis; two sons, August and his wife Christine Canavari of Lakewood, and David Canavari of Carteret. She is also survived by two sisters, Jean Picariello of Massachusetts and Julia DeFazio of Secaucus; six grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Services arranged by the Gustav J.
