In response to Evelyn Sabol’s letter in the April 15 issue of the “Bayonne Community News”:
Why would this person suggest that Pat Boyle replace Tony Chiappone? Mr. Boyle is retired from the fire department, collecting a fairly sized pension plus hospital and medical expenses at the taxpayer’s expense. Does this person want him to “double dip?”
There are so many qualified personnel from W.W.II, Vietnam, and Iraq – all veterans with no pay, no job, and some with no home.
Mrs. Sabol, think positive. These vets fought for your freedom without a thought of political favoritism.
