About a month ago, we published a story about a developer who scooped up the one remaining unbought parcel of land between the Park Avenue and Willow Avenue bridges at the Hoboken/Weehawken border, and is building a four-story house on it. It seemed strange, as the city of Hoboken wants to build a park on that land, and appeared to have accidentally overlooked that one plot, allowing developer Mark Settembre to move on.
Now that the frame of the house is rising on the property and more people are noticing it, we thought we’d publish some updated photos and a link to the original article, which has now been read by more than 1,000 people.
It is indeed nice to live next to a future park, and with views of New York City, but would you want to live between two heavily traveled bridges? It is certainly an interesting location!
