Funeral services were held June 17 at Temple Beth El, Jersey City, for Harold L. Rosen, 80. He passed away June 15 at St. Barnabas Medical Center, Livingston. A veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he was a member of the Jewish War Veterans of America. He was also an accomplished artist and had a passion for carpentry. Mr. Rosen owned Rosen Decorators of Jersey City, a family business begun by his parents. He was the husband of the late Toby Rosen. He is survived by his longtime companion, Lorry Warhoftig; his son and daughter-in-law Irwin and Sharon Rosen, Jersey City, and daughter Wendy Rosen and son-in-law Alan Porwich, North Brunswick. He was the brother of Herman and Sandra Rosen, Boston, Mass., and Elsie and Norman Stelzer, Mt. Pocono, Pa., and the brother-in-law of Charlotte Markovits, Port Jervis, N.Y. He was the grandfather of Lindsay and Christopher Aliano and Dorie and Samantha Porwich, and the great grandfather of Casey Aliano. Services arranged by Gutterman Bros., Bayonne.
