Funeral services were held July 6 for Mabel Metzler, 95. She passed away in Llanfiar House, Wayne, on July 1. She was the co-owner of Metzler’s Bakery in Union City. She was the wife of the late George. Mabel was the mother of Jane Becker, George D. and Norman Metzler; the sister of the late Dorothy Blohm, the late Midred Ferry, the late William Gaess and the late Donald Gaess; the grandmother of David and Amy Metzler, Ryan and Matthew Metzler, Stacey and Tara and Robert Becker, and the great grandmother of Kyle Joseph Metzler.
