A funeral mass was offered June 26 at St. Lawrence Church, Weehawken, for Barbara Mary Carluccio (nee Anderson), 77, formerly of Weehawken. She passed away peacefully at the Concord Healthcare Center in Concord, Mass., on June 16 after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Barbara graduated from St. Peter’s College, Jersey City, in 1978 and retired as a supervisor from the Hudson County Division of Welfare Services in Jersey City in 1999. Barbara was preceded in death by her father, Charles, her mother, Anna, her brother, Charles, and her sister, Anne Higgins, and was a life long resident of Hudson County. She is survived by her children: Michael of Weehawken; Jude Anne (Edward Arnold) of Minneapolis Minn., London U.K. and Davos, Switzerland; Thomas (Kara) of Minnesota; James (Claudia) of California; Paul (Tracey) of New Jersey; and Stephen (Patty) of Massachusetts; and her grandchildren Jeffrey Salmeri, Barbara Michelle, Jasmine, Paul, Jacob, Jade, Matthew, Maggie and Izabelle Carluccio. She is also survived by three sisters, Catherine Walliser of Norwood, Marguerite Garvin of Rutherford, and Mary Lou Azzariti (John) of Wyckoff, as well as many nieces and nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews.
