Private funeral services have been held for for Madeline “Chickie” Wasko. A lifelong resident of Jersey City, she passed away suddenly on June 27 at home. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas Wasko; her children, Susan and husband Adam Gazdowicz, Frank Wasko and wife Lisa, and Nicholas Wasko and wife Gloria; and her four adored grandchildren, Natalie, Austin, Devin, and Nicole. She will be especially missed by her sisters, Gloria Miller, Frances and husband Steve Kearns, and Florence and husband Marty Finn, with whom she shared a close loving relationship; and brothers, John and Albe Midolo. Madeline is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends. Services arranged by the Riotto Funeral Home, Jersey City.
